Reading a Book in Balcony

CHRISTINE'S BLOG

Welcome to my blog, a space for meditative reflections, bold insights, and practical strategies designed to help you break through limitations and step into a life that feels truly aligned...

Through years of coaching high-achieving women, I’ve seen firsthand how small shifts in perspective can lead to extraordinary transformations. Here, I’ll share the mindset shifts, tools, and real-world wisdom that make growth feel exciting, expansive, and—most importantly—your own. Whether you’re looking for clarity, confidence, balance, or a fresh perspective, you’ll find something here to challenge and inspire you. So, take what resonates, experiment with new ideas, and remember—you’re capable of more than you think.

This year represents the archetypal energy of the snake and brings energy of great change...

For of all the animals of the Chinese zodiac, the snake is the only one that sheds its skin. Shedding of the skin symbolizes casting off old ways of thinking, acting and being.

Unlike taking off a jacket, a snake sheds its skin laboriously over time. It is an inevitable process with its lifecycle. Shedding of your old skin or identities can feel very vulnerable as the new skin is sensitive and the old has not completely been cast off. Any change that happens quickly always looks like and feels like drama and chaos! Radical change can cause the psyche to resist with irritation, anger or panic. This is true whether these are changes in your personal life that you have longed for or they are changes in the world around you that make you fearful. All can be observed with neutrality, for life in the world around you are always in a state of constant flux.

In December, when I was in India visiting an ashram for a number of weeks, all the old and familiar were stripped away and replaced with culture shock, and although there was rejuvenation and tranquility in the change, it was intriguing to watch the feelings of irritation and resistance pop up some days. Gone were all the everyday comforts and routines that I have, replaced with rigorous new routines and very simplistic, although often beautiful surroundings. Part of me wanted to leave immediately and the other part of my being reminded to savor every moment, every drop of wisdom, insight and friendship.

Given that this is the energy this year brings, it is especially good to be very clear about what sort of changes you would like to bring about in your life that you can facilitate. And to focus on these systematically throughout the year. And with the moments of panic and frustration, step back and try to mindfully observe your monkey mind and its reaction to change.

Namaste,

Christine

The Portal in the Storm

Navigating the Waters of crisis in this eclipse portal, of October 2nd. It is not unusual to feel emotional around an eclipse as the astrology can be challenging, but this one more so than many, with all the people that are suffering with apocalyptic flood damage and lack of food and clean water and literally unaccounted for in North Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia.

In such times, I am definitely moved by the courage, resilience and generosity of countless individuals. But everyone that is impacted now I think is definitely feeling a good deal of shock and burnout from the trauma of it apart from all the cleanup work!

Hopefully, this is a time when we as a nation can stand together and think of unity. For those in the flood zone, let us send prayers for assistance both on the seen and unseen realms. And for empaths in the flood zone and those of us who are not, a gentle reminder for us to stay in our hearts while we are processing the grief, anxiety and anger of the collective consciousness. This is a time of raising up our vibration and a challenge to stand together and show kindness rather than divisiveness.

Namaste,

Christine

Perhaps you’re feeling the shift already? The Super New Moon in Aquarius is today January 21 and should offer a welcome break from the heavy emotional feeling of the full moon in cancer that we had earlier this month.

Yes, the solar activity over the last few weeks has been intense and the physical body is feeling it with everything from neck tensions and headaches, heart palpitations, and other organs needing extra care, as the physical body is assimilating these higher vibrations and the emotional lessons learned.

But thankfully, Aquarius brings a more playful vibe and after the end of the month, the solar activity will most likely decrease for a while. Aquarius brings an emphasis on personal freedom balanced with participating in your soul tribe/your community whether it be friends, family, or those you connect with through your work. The different retrogrades are waning and we are coming into a period of greater ease & forward momentum. In fact, it probably will be feeling more like this is the beginning of 2023, than early January!

As you are moving more fully into 2023, consider what aspects of you as a magnificent being do you want to explore in this year? It looks like 2023 will continue in a very fast pace as echoed in the Chinese astrology sign for the year, the Rabbit. Chinese New Year January 22, right after the new moon, augurs in the energy of strength and confidence, but like the rabbit in Aesop’s fables, it brings a reminder to pace yourself.

Observe but do not be distracted by the external world around you. For as your frequency increases the more you will manifest what you’re focusing on – so be mindful of what you would like for yourself and the global collective! Peace and harmony or frustration and irritation? It is your choice to be clear about what sort of consciousness you would like to embody and what you would like to manifest throughout the year.

What are the themes that you would like to see play out? What are the qualities that you would like to bring in more of this year? And how can you be open to more ease and grace in 2023? And absolutely, consider not only what you would like to do and be, but be open to receive abundance!

Here’s to wishing you a joyful year of ease and grace!

Namaste,

Christine
