As many of you probably recall, we are in the middle of an eclipse gateway. The total lunar eclipse will be on November 8 and it will be the last one until March 2025. (There will be partial and penumbral eclipses but no total lunar ones.) So, it’s not surprising that it feels dramatic, both on a global and personal level. Lunar eclipses trigger radical expansion of our need for freedom and harmony, and consequently, are significant choice points for leaving behind anything that keeps us feeling disharmonious.
The eclipse then, invites us to release all that does not serve us in becoming the Highest version of ourselves. Transformation comes from letting go of old and worn-out ways of being and boldly walking off the cliff into the new. New opportunities and new directions can feel ungrounded and a bit scary. But as we embrace our heart’s path, we are reminded that when we have the courage to walk off the cliff, we end up flying! What are you being drawn to let go of in a big way? Hint, it’s usually what feels heavy, or triggers us in some way.
Sometimes, it can feel selfish focusing on our own pathway when there are so many crazy disharmonious events going on in the world at large. But for every choice you make that brings you more in alignment with your Highest Self, you are supporting the energy of the collective to up level also. Higher Personal choices bring Higher Collective choices.
On a practical level, November is always an excellent time to reflect over the year and contemplate where you would like to go and 2023. Mars is in retrograde until later in January-March. In some ways this can bring a softer energy that makes it easier to go within. However, the fiery aspect of Mars that help to get things done is more difficult to access especially for the signs of Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces. This is simply something to be aware of going forward and note and step back whether the Mars retrograde is urging you to get stuck in power struggles, self-doubt or other nonproductive detours.
Namaste,
Christine
